Heirachabis Guest Farm, Namibia

Heirachabis has a colourful history since the establishment of a Catholic Mission in 1906.

It was here that the peace between the Bondelswarts and the Germans were negotiated and signed.

At the moment, there are two church buildings, the old and the new. The new one is being kept in an immaculate condition, while some renovations are being planned for the old one.

Currently the farm is being leased from the Catholic Church on a long lease and it is being utilised as a Sheep, game and guest farm.

It has accommodation in neat flatlets in the main building as well as camping on the premises near the old school or in fact, for those who want to camp in the wild, any place on this 40 000ha property.

To obtain a good, hearty Namibian farm meal, just talk to Cecile who will spoil you with her cooking.

Activities include hiking, camping, riding quad bikes, birdwatching and game watching. Just talk to Chris about the possibilities.
