The small mountain river runs trough the camp to join the lagoon near the beach. Within 5 minutes walk you can take a swim in the Atlantic Ocean or lay sunbathing on the 3,5km open sandy beach. It has 112 caravan and 12 tent sites, all equipped with electricity. The 4 ablution blocks have hot water, and water points close to sites. A 350m walk provides a tranquil atmosphere to the lagoon where you can quitely sit and watch the wild mountain horses that graze through the lushes green plant life.

The small seaside village of Kleinmond enjoys three natural features like Palmiet Mountains, Palmiet River Lagoon and a beautiful stretch of rocky and sandy coastline. The caravan park has direct access to the beach and lagoon, beautifully grassed and terraced with well established trees and schrubs to divide stands and provide them with shade and privacy. The lagoon is ideal for a number of activities like swimming, canoeing, board-sailing, whilst the wide sandy beach adjacent to it, is perfect for beach games and sunbathing. Few resorts can beat Onrus's stunning location - under milkwoods trees right next to the breaking waves of the mighty Atlantic. There is a choice of neatly paved stands. There is a rocky beach in front of the park and the sandy beach with lagoon is within walking distance from the campsite. There are 130 electrified stands, 46 non-electrified stands suitable for caravaning and camping as well as 4 ablution blocks with hot water. Bontebok National Park provides a refuge for not only Bontebok, but also many other species to many to name. The park is situated within the Cape Floral Kingdom, the samllest but richest of the world's six floral kingdoms. Chalets, caravan and tent campsites are located close to the Breede River. Activities include game viewing, nature trails, bathing and angling in the Breede River. Picnic sites with ablution and braai facilities are also available for day visitors.

The Bush Camp is built over a ruin, dating back to 1730 and 9- 12 are able to sleep around the ancient walls which divide the area in three convenient divisions. The wooden walls slide open offering spacious views across the farm. The Bush Camp has all the essential comforts - gas hot water, stove and fridge. Although there are comfortable beds and mattresses we ask guests to bring their own pillows and duvets. The CAMP SITE is under two enormous oaks and has an electrical point, a small fridge, a shower and flush toilet. We seldom place more than one party at a time at the camp site, usually you will have it to yourselves
