"This is a quiet place". The owner, Dennis Driver, has created a unique concept which allows members of the public to join the Combretum Park Conservancy Association, pay an annual fee, and then have unlimited access to the Camp Site and the Game Reserve. Combretum Park offers a truly unique experience. It is a place of tranquility and natural beauty, truly remarkable in many respects. The caravan and camp site consists of 25 caravan or camping sites, developed on about 10 hectares. There are communal ablution blocks, as well as an Information Center, where much information about the park and its activities are available. There are electrical points at three of the camping sites, and all have good clean running water. The camp site is designed in such a way that sites are secluded from one another, which means that even when the camp is full, there is still privacy and seclusion.

Our bush camp is situated on Kazi Mingi farm between Modimolle (Nylstroom) and Vaalwater in the magnificent Waterberg area. We offer 5 camp sites tucked away between beautiful shade trees. The three smaller sites each have its own a cozy braai lapa and a braai stand, electrical point, dustbin and easy access to water points. The larger central campsite has a lush grassed area. There are two neat ablution blocks with toilets, hot showers and washbasins. Other central facilities include a large braai lapa, a kitchen with a fridge/freezer, chest freezer, kettle and double washbasin. Comfortably equipped yet rustic and natural. Self-catering accommodation consisting of a fully equipped stone house and an en-suite 2-bed safari tent a short distance away is also available. This option will be useful if someone in your party choose not to camp.

At Schamach you find the floral diversity created by three distinct habitat on the farm. The montane sourveld on the higher areas is dominated by sugarbush proteas Yellowwoods and wild lavender trees thrive in the valleys and the mixed veld of the lower bushveld environment makes up the lower-lying areas.
