The retreat lies in the Soutpansberg mountains,one has the choice of being taken up to your accommodation by 4x4, or bring your own 4x4, or you can brave the walk to the top .If you are in the mood to get down to nature, there are three basic wooden cabins and one mud hut that share a communal ablution block that consists of showers and "long drop" toilets. Zvakananka campsite, with its wonderful views of the Soutpansberg mountain towering over the campsite, is situated down near the wetland nestled into indigenous bush. There are two camps which share the ablution block which consists of four toilets and two showers. Each of these has their own entrance and basin. The campsite is fully electrified. The two campsites are quite far apart and each camp is carefully designed for maximum privacy. Each camp has: A cement-floored shelter offering shade and some protection from the weather; an electric light and a power point; a braai stand; a water point and a number of sites for tents. A cabin is also available.
