Africa, 16km from Machadodorp out on the R541 and only 2.5 hours from Johannesburg/Pretoria.
It is a peaceful and private retreat with 2 self-catering cottages, fully serviced with bed linen and towels provided. Experience exclusivity, privacy, comfort and relaxation.
Enjoy the tranquility and nature, be it fly fishing, hiking or merely observing the surroundings. The owner has got a personal involvement and commitment to the customers during their stay. The property is safe and secure. Adults and kids can explore the property on foot to their heart's content and an excellent opportunity to relax with friends and family.

This beautiful countryside beckons the nature lover to rediscover the simple pleasures in life. Here you can relax and explore the many opportunities for scenic walks, photography, bird watching and plant life. Ideal to be a weekend away from it all where we offer excellent fly fishing and accommodation with 1 and 2 ha dams respectively. Well stocked with Rainbow, Brown and Golden trout. Both the dams are about 100 meters walking distance from each cottage. The cottages are 100 meters apart.

Chalet No 1 (sleeps 10) consists of lounge with fireplace, huge dining area, fully fitted kitchen and 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, a little basin, cupboard and dressing table (no shower). The 2nd and 3rd bedroom each has a double bunk and 2 single beds with a little basin (no shower). Separate bathroom and shower. This chalet has an outside lapa with braai facilities and undercover parking. Braai and fireplace wood will be supplied every day.
Chalet No 2 (sleeps 8) comprises a lounge with fireplace, dining and fully fitted kitchen. The 1st bedroom has a double bed and 2 single beds with bathroom en-suite (No shower). The 2nd bedroom has 1 double bunk, 2 single beds and en-suite shower (No bath). This chalet has an outside braai area with facilities and undercover parking. Braai and fireplace wood will be supplied every day.

From Johannesburg/Pretoria on the N4 turn into Machadodorp and follow the Badplaas road. About 13.5 km along the R541 turn right at the Zevenfontein sign and follow the gravel road for about 1.5km and turn left into the Uitkomst Trout Cottages entrance.
