Langebaan is a hugely popular holiday town next to the beautiful and historic Saldanha Bay and the West Coast National Park. Camping sites, holiday flats, restaurants and the beautiful lagoon makes this a very popular haunt for holidaymakers.
West Coast National Park A visit to this park offers accommodation in the Abrahamskraal self-catering cottage, Duinepos Chalets, Jo-Anne's beach cottage and permanently moored houseboats.
Activities include dining in their restaurant, Bird watching, Mountain bike & Cycling Route Trails. Many hiking trails, Picnic sites, Whale watching from August to November, Flower & Game viewing from one's own vehicle, while Kite boarding, Kayaking and other water sports can be done in Kraalbaai.
Because the West Coast National Park does not offer camping and the other accommodation was fully booked when we were there, we visited the beautiful park, had a good, wholesome meal in the Restaurant and then arranged accommodation in the splendid Club Mykonos in Langebaan.
