Sesriem to Solitaire
As indicated by the name Solitaire, this townlet is a solitary place in the middle of nowhere. Its reason for existence is the fact that it lies on a rather busy crossroads.
It grew from a place with a solitary tree, one solitary petrol pump and a solitary take away kiosk to what it is today.
It has a fuel garage, a country lodge, a camping site, a restaurant/apple tart eating place and a neighbouring tourism business.
