We camped at Cozy Mountain Camp.
Cosy Mountain is a beautiful, natural outdoor getaway not far from the N7 highway linking Cape Town and Namibia.
Situated just a few kilometers away from Kamieskroon and the entrance to the Namaqua National Park, Cosy Mountain offers the perfect holiday or weekend break, at an affordable rate.
There are numerous hikes and walks in unspoilt scenery. On Cosy Mountain, you can experience beautiful rock gardens, waterholes and panoramic views.
Their B & B is situated in a charming 200 year old farmhouse. Double rooms all have their own private bathrooms with a shower.
They are proud of their dinners, which include 2 meats, 1 starch, 3 veggies and dessert while they offer wholesome breakfasts. They are very flexible with regard to meals and cater for vegetarians, vegans and any other health diets or requests.
The Campsites are placed far from each other. The sites also offer private bathrooms, hot showers, lights and flushing toilets. Here you can have privacy and comfort in a strictly environment friendly camp atmosphere. Ice and wood is available for sale.
We strongly recommend this camp spot for nature lovers. It is far from the other camp and we never even had an idea that there were other people there. We recommend at least two night's sleep at Cosy Mountain, to be able to do the hikes and/or the 4x4 climb up the mountain.
