Accommodation Kuruman at De Duine Bed and Breakfast Lodge

De Duine B&B Lodge, in Kuruman, is situated close to the banks of the Kuruman River on three hectares of bushland.

Five comfortable rooms each with air conditioning and DSTV are available. Each room has a private sun deck, with barbecue facilities, on which to enjoy the cool kalahari air under the sparkling stars.

The lodge is located at 7 Thompson Avenue, a kilometre or two from the Kuruman CBD, yet far enough from main roads and within walking distance of the world famous Moffat Mission Station where Moffat's church was completed in 1838. It was in this church that the Moffat's daughter, Mary, married the explorer David Livingstone.

The 1400 ha Billy Duvenhage Nature Reserve, two kilometres along the Kathu Road, is home to several game and bird species.

De Duine Lodge also runs a second hand book shop with basic stationery supplies.
