The Summit Lodge has a unique old SA Railways train coach on its own platform that is very popular as basic, backpackers accommodation. The train has 8 private compartments that sleep 1 to 2 persons each. There are two toilets on board the coach and 6 showers and 4 additional toilets and hand basins next to the train coach. A small, basic outside kitchen (no utensils) with a gas stove and hot water is also available.

Description: Thaba Tsweni lodge situated in the Drakensberg Mountains and the Blyde River Canyon area, consists of fully equipped luxury self-catering chalets, where a full South African breakfast and/or dinner, can be arranged to your preferences with prior notice. Description: Westlodge was architecturally designed and built in 1998 in a Victorian style as a B & B and is our home. We have five, luxury, en-suite bedrooms which have been stylishly decorated.
